Spinal energetics is designed to build
self-awareness within each client.

Awaken Your Body’s Healing Power with Spinal Energetics

Spinal Energetics is a gentle yet potent & powerful modality that bridges Eastern philosophies and Western practices to awaken the natural healing intelligence within your body. By working with the spine (the energetic highway of the body), the nervous system, and energetic body we help facilitate deep emotional, physical, and spiritual healing.

By working with the energy flow along the spine, this therapy helps restore balance, reduce pain, improve mobility, and promote overall well-being. Whether you're holding stress in your shoulders, emotional trauma in your hips, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, this practice can help you realign with your true self. The main goal is to bring safety to the body, and to help regulate the nervous system. Experience a deep sense of relaxation and alignment as your body naturally heals itself.

Spinal Energetics is a practice of collaboration between client and practitioner, where we co-create a sense of safety within the body. Through light, yet powerful touch (and often no touch), an organic flow of movement and sound begins and progresses to shift, unwind, discover and release tension, resistance, and stories that may have been stored in the body.

Clients often experience:

  • Emotional release or waves of sensation

  • Gentle movements or spontaneous physical shifts or sound

  • Deep stillness, insights, and clarity

  • A feeling of being more grounded and connected

Some clients describe it as a deeply meditative state. Others find it profoundly energising or freeing. There is no "right" experience.. only what your body is ready for.

Who is it for?
Spinal Energetics is for anyone who:

  • Feels disconnected from their body or intuition

  • Is holding onto emotional or energetic tension

  • Struggles with stress, anxiety, or nervous system overload

  • Seeks gentle support on their healing or spiritual path

  • Anyone ready to shift

All clients must have experienced an energy healing treatment with Laura, within 6 months prior to commencing Spinal Energetics sessions. Please check the contradictions here to see if you are suitable right now. I am a Level One Practitioner so this limits some of my clientele. Spinal Energetics isn’t for everyone - this doesn’t mean that you can’t experience Spinal Energetics completely.. it might be just not right now. Please message me if you have any concerns or questions here.

What to Expect in a Session
You don't need to do anything.. your body already knows what to release. We simply create the space and connection for that healing to unfold.
Each session is unique, guided by the wisdom of your body. You’ll lie fully clothed on a treatment table while the practitioner gently engages with your energy field and spinal system. In a Spinal Energetics session, an initial assessment of the feet is conducted, followed by light touches on the spine and other areas of the body to help the individual cultivate a deep sense of self-awareness. During this process, the person may naturally move or stretch, experience muscle tremors, express emotions, or make sounds as tension stored in the body and nervous system is released.

You may feel:

  • Tingling or waves of energy

  • Emotional sensations or memories

  • Spontaneous movement or breath changes

  • A deep sense of relaxation and inner stillness

My experience with Spinal Energetics...

It’s been a journey of bringing the unknown into awareness and clearing it from the body. Our body knows how to heal. Most physical pain can resolve in 6 weeks… but when it lingers, it's often because deeper emotional and spiritual layers are asking to be witnessed. We’re not meant to stay stuck. We’re meant to live fully, be shaped by our experiences, and use relationships and reflections to reveal our patterns.. not avoid them. Where energy healing and physical therapy gave relief, Spinal Energetics offered something more: a deep, somatic shift that finally cleared the lingering niggles I couldn’t quite move.

🌀 Spinal Energetics is gentle. It’s deep. It’s the missing link for many.
Spinal Energetics helps you remember, release, and return to your natural state of balance. The healing you seek is already within you.

  • Emotional releases are not uncommon, as spinal energetics can help to release stored emotional trauma. If you experience emotions like sadness, anxiety, or even joy, it’s important to allow yourself to feel these emotions. • Positive signs that spinal energetics is working may include improvements in mobility, a reduction in pain or tension, enhanced energy, or emotional shifts. The process of healing may look different for everyone, so it’s important to remain patient and allow your body time to adjust.

  • Physical

    1. Soreness: Mild soreness or discomfort at the site of tension patterns that have been released is common and usually temporary. It's similar to the soreness one might experience after exercise.

    2. Headache: Some individuals might experience headaches after, especially if the neck processes were worked on. This usually resolves within a short time.

    3. Fatigue: After an SE session, some people might feel a bit fatigued or drowsy, similar to the sensation after a massage.

    4. Increased Pain: In some cases, individuals might experience an increase in pain after a session. This is usually temporary and could be due to the body's response to the release of tension.

    5. Rib Discomfort: changing the tension of the spine could lead to temporary discomfort in the ribcage area.

    6. Nerve Irritation: SE involves working with the nervous system, and in rare cases, nerve irritation might occur, leading to numbness, tingling, or shooting pains.

    7. Joint or Muscle Strain: large movements in sessions could strain muscles or joints, potentially leading to discomfort.

    Emotional

    1. Emotional Discomfort: As traumatic memories and emotions are brought to the surface, individuals may experience heightened emotional distress, including anxiety, sadness, anger, or mood swings.

    2. Physical Sensations: The release of stored tension and emotions can lead to physical sensations such as headaches, muscle tension, or digestive changes.
